New Orleans, LA - The Peja Stojakovic Children’s Foundation announced today that it raised $45,000 during Peja’s inaugural "Charitabowl" on Friday, March 21 at the All Star Lanes in Kenner, La. February 16, 2008 - PEJA STOJAKOVIC HONORED AT BEHIND THE BENCH LUNCHEON

New Orleans, LA - Hornets forward Peja Stojakovic was honored at the 7th Annual NBA Wives Luncheon for his efforts in assisting Katrina victims. The luncheon was held at the Hotel Renaissance in New Orleans on February 16th at 1pm. Following Hurricane Katrina, Peja Stojakovic teamed up with former NBA All-Star and current NBA analyst for "Inside the NBA" on TNT, Kenny Smith. The pair sent two semi-trucks filled with donated items for the victims of New Orleans area. For these efforts, Peja received a Role Model award by the NBA Wives Association. Read More...

New Orleans, LA - Hornets forward Peja Stojakovic, former NBA player and current TNT basketball analyst Kenny "The Jet" Smith, and the New Orleans Saints teamed up with international hunger relief organization Feed The Children to provide 800 New Orleans families with boxes of food and personal care items on Thursday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m. at Greater St. Stephens Church (2308 South Liberty Street). Chicago, IL - Hornets sharp-shooting forward Peja Stojakovic partnered with International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC) to provide mobility assistance to more than 160 disabled people in Thessaloniki, Greece.
